I had the Akabane whitebait bowl from Donburi Kaido. It comes with buckwheat or udon noodles, so it's filling and satisfying. Plenty of shirasu and accented with tobiko. Soba in a colander costs ¥100 more, but in summer we recommend the colander. I used the scissors for breaking quail eggs for the first time.
