I got in the way on the Donburi Highway. Maybe my 3rd visit. Since I visited just after noon, the parking lot was almost full. The seats are almost full. I ordered mapo rice. My wife ordered a round pot meat bowl from Donburi Kaido. Both of us also ordered seasonal apricot kernel tofu (mixed berries) for dessert. The soup that came with mapo rice is corn soup. The mapo rice is a little spicy, so I used the soup to counteract the spiciness. Good balance. The portion was just right too. Almond tofu for dessert is also a little unsatisfactory if it is only almond tofu, but it is just right when combined with the sourness of mixed berry sauce.
