I made it to the Otafukuzen meal, which included Nai Dengaku and oshiruko. All of the dishes were well-seasoned and my parents, who are in their 70s, were very happy with them. Apparently the oshiruko is also homemade, and it was very delicious, so I highly recommend it. The restaurant has table seats and tatami rooms. If you cannot park next to the store, there is a large parking lot a few doors away.

It is said that Tokugawa Ieyasu and successive shoguns also loved it. (Not sure if true or false) During the Edo period, a set of rice and dengaku was eaten, and it became popular in post towns and highways. Is this the signature dish of what we would now call a roadside restaurant? In my hometown of Okazaki, Wakayagi-san and Yachiyo-san in Okazaki Park are two of the best. Both are delicious, and each has its own unique flavor. Naihan, which is also a seasonal word for spring, is perfect for this season. The tofu is grilled over charcoal, coated with sweet Hatcho miso, and flavored with sansho leaves. The saltiness of the rice and the rich sweetness of the dengaku. If you eat it once in a while, it will make you smile because of its addictive taste. The soup and grated nameko radish are also exquisite. Perfect harmony on the table. What more could you ask for? Enough is enough to know what is enough. Lunch meal ¥1,780 The shiruko (shiruko) at the end is a must-try. This shiruko completes the Otafuku meal. Business hours 11:00-15:00. The 🅿️ in front of the shop is dangerous ⚠️ because there are 3 cars along the road. The second parking lot 🅿️ is located a little further away, past the elevated Tomei Expressway, so it would be wiser to use that parking lot when it's crowded. Parking available for 10 cars.

I went there because I wanted to eat nameshi dengaku. Dengaku was very delicious with 8-chome miso with mustard. The tofu dengaku was also large and the miso was very tasty and wonderful. It was a conscientious shop that was covered by three women. Next time, I would like to try the famous cold oshiruko soup with Otafuku lunch. It was the best Dengaku I have ever eaten.
