The all 5 stars are my impressions, so I'm sure there are others who feel differently. I don't think there's any point in comparing the food to other restaurants in the same industry, so I use Matsuya because I like the taste of miso soup. As for the service, the only contact with the staff is to pick up the food, and since it's self-service, I think the scoring itself is meaningless, but the service is not bad. The atmosphere is along the national highway, so there is some traffic noise, but it's quiet so you can enjoy your meal in peace.
