Best soba in the city

I feel safe because all the staff and staff are wearing masks (it's a pity that there's only one lady who doesn't). I want you to do it because it makes me salivate. Delicious no matter when you come! The tempura udon is full of udon and comes with a variety of toppings, making it a great value❗️I always make this. The mini bowl set is also a mini bowl with plenty of volume. I'll come again

Tokyo-an was founded in 1884 in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture. It's amazing that it spans five eras: Meiji, Taisho, Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa! A little-known piece of local information is that Toyohashi/Toyokawa is an area with a strong udon culture. One of the things that supports that area is Tokyo-an (^^) The founder was originally from what is now Kokubunji, Tokyo, and moved to Toyohashi, his wife's hometown, where he started a restaurant that focused on udon and soba noodles, which is now Tokyo-an. Located in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture, the store name ``Tokyo-an'' was chosen by the founder as he thought of his hometown of Tokyo. Also, at that time, the name of the place had not yet changed from Edo to Tokyo, and Rokumeikan had opened the previous year, and we were in the midst of civilization and enlightenment, and the name "Tokyo" symbolized a new era. It may have been a representation of the founder's suicide as he made a new start. The Toyokawa store opened in 1976. Nowadays, many restaurants have opened in this area, but on that day, the area was surrounded by rice fields and nearby Sanmyoji Temple was filled with spring water. They built a large store here, which was innovative at the time, and relocated the watermill that was the image of Tokyo-an. After that, a new building was added, which is where it is today. I love the local ``kake udon'' from this area, and on this day I ordered the ``Tokyoan set meal/1300 yen'' which comes with tempura. how is it? This tempura is beautifully fried and looks crispy! It's as delicious as expected! The udon noodles are smooth and smooth and go down smoothly. This area's ``kake udon'' is a specialty, so I recommend everyone to try it (^^)
