More Comments at Google MapA long-established eel restaurant in Akasaka-cho, Toyokawa City. The bright wife is doing it all by herself. Kansai style grilled eel. The parking lot is on the side of the store, and there are about 3 spaces in the back. During the day, there is a parking lot at the historic site Ohashiya, so you can use it in advance of your visit. ----- Pot eel rice with Kimo 3,800 yen (Vinegared dishes, small side dishes, soup, pickles, fruits) Inside the pot, there are two layers of eel between the rice. You can change the taste by adding chopped green onions and ginger halfway through. I guess you could call it Akasaka's version of eel hitsumabushi. The eel sandwiched between rice was steamed, and by the time I ate it with condiments, it was soft and had a nice flavor. Delicious! ! As your wife is elderly, I want her to do her best for a long time. Thank you for the meal♬♪
It's only open for one hour at night, but it seems like it's okay if you call. The proprietress is a very nice person and runs the business by herself, and the shop has an old-fashioned feel and a nice atmosphere. Of course, the taste of eel is also great. It's Kansai style (?) and the crispy skin is delicious. Dengaku eel is also the best. The food is cut according to the number of people, so you can share it with everyone. If you go here, you should definitely try it. It's a very nice shop in all respects. Repeat confirmed. The parking lot is a little small, but...
I jumped in and had the eel bowl. The kabayaki sauce was exquisite and delicious. The current proprietress has taken care of the shop after her husband passed away 15 years ago. It looks like they will cut and grill live eel from Toyohashi on the spot. If you call us when you need to go, you may be able to reduce the amount of time you have to wait. I want to go again. Next time I would like to try something like eel dengaku. The photo of the eel bowl looked so delicious that I took one bite. lol. The parking lot is also on the left side of the store. I forgot to mention that all the pickles here are handmade by the proprietress, so they were very delicious.
