If you had a chance to come to Mount Houraiji in Shinshiro here, you definitely should try the Gohei Mochi of Matsuya here. It's 250 Japanese yan. After you order some food inside they'll give you a pot of green tea which are very high quality you've never tried at no extra cost. If you didn't try it, that means you are silly and never can experience to try a Japanese Authentic Gohei Mochi in Japan as a precious experience. Although you see the same food anywhere in Japan, it's really difficult even for local Japanese to find Authentic ones. This's actually a little known fact that their Gohei Mochies here are exceptions, very Savoy, it'll sure to give you a special experience in Japan. ここの五平饼だけはJu対forgetれてはいけない. After the annotation, the time is をしっかりかけて缼いてくれて灏香ばしく本格的な五平饼は、まつや本店とここだけ.と思う. Perfectionism のオーナー(本店にいる)ならではのサービスと思う. If you come to "Fenglai Temple Mountain", don't forget to eat the "Gohei Pancake" from this shop. Although the snack "Gohei Mochi" is nothing special in Japan, you must see it everywhere, but the one here is very special. It is the only local and traditional way of making it. 250 yen each. In order to let you taste the most delicious food, they will not give it to you already grilled, they will only start grilling it after you order it. Remember it will take about five minutes, don’t rush 😁 I recommend you order that cake and wait quietly in the store. Maybe they will give you a very high-end cup of green tea. This is something we Japanese rarely drink, because this type of green tea is not only very expensive, but also requires a bit of skill just like coffee. One more thing, please don’t forget to say what you got from the waiter to show your respect. "A li ga toh!". It means "thank you". No matter what you buy, they will never forget to thank you.

Udon, Miso Dengaku, and Gohei mochi were delicious✨ Perfect for taking a break at Horaiji Main Hall and Toshogu Shrine! Close to the toll road Horaijiyama Parkway
