I like Chinese food. I always go there when I want a hearty meal. This Koubaien has a chain in the Nobi area, and I visit the store everywhere I go. The seasoning may vary slightly depending on the store, but the basics are the same. This time I ordered a lunch set of Taiwanese tonkotsu ramen with mapo rice. A free soft drink is included after the meal. It was a very satisfying lunch. However, the Mapo Meal Hanabe restaurant is the most delicious. That's because the Japanese pepper is used there. Although I felt that my Japanese was a little poor, I could still see how hard they worked towards customer service. For lunch, you get free refills of rice and one free soft drink, but the food itself was quite voluminous, and I was full without even needing a refill. Apparently they also serve lunch on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. The price is reasonable and I highly recommend it. However, reservations are required for groups of 4 or more, and there will be a penalty if there is leftover food.
