This restaurant is famous for its surprising char siu. Arrived after 1 o'clock I came to the store prepared to wait in line. There were 5 customers who occupied about 30% of the store. Luckily, it seemed to be the time of the valley. Ramen is Chinese noodles only Char siu for 100 yen each Choose from 1 to 3 pieces. Since I came all the way, I ordered 3 pieces. Before long A piece of chashu came with the water and appetizer. My first time serving chashu I have some hope. In a restaurant with many tables for four people The staff are all old ladies, making it seem like a popular restaurant. After a short time Customers came one after another and the place was full. Almost everyone only ordered 2 pieces. I feel a little uneasy. The rice bowl arrives in about 5 minutes. The char siu was bigger than I expected❗️ There are 1 to 2 centimeters. Some are nearly 3 cm long. I can't stop feeling excited. Start with the chashu It's not enough to make me tremble, but Soft and just the right flavor. The soup is A traditional sweet soup It also goes well with chashu. The noodles are yellow curly thin noodles. I ordered the hard one and it was just the right hardness. It's my favorite type of noodles, so I use chopsticks. Char siu as a side dish If you eat noodles like you eat rice I can eat chashu without getting tired of it. As expected, when it comes to the third picture It's quite filling. But I finished it. I'm thinking of ordering two pieces this time. I'll probably order 3 more if I come here again. 900 yen for 3 pieces is quite a cost performance. It's my favorite Chinese soba, so I'm satisfied to the max. That's right.

On Sunday afternoon, I was nearby for work, so I stopped by Joshuya, a Chinese noodle restaurant in Kasugai City, for lunch. The location is a little north of Kasugai Municipal Hospital. For public transportation, there is a bus from Kasugai Station, but there is also a parking lot for 7 cars, so you can also get there by car. It was after 12:00 when I entered the restaurant, so it was full, so I had to wait a little while to be seated. The store staff are all grandparents. It may be a little hard to hear, but its movements are very quick. Once you are seated, you will be served water and a bite of chashu. The menu is a straightforward affair with only Chinese noodles and rice, and you can only choose the amount of noodles and chashu. Moreover, according to information on the internet, the portion of chashu is quite large. So, I ordered two large pieces of Chinese noodles (700 yen) with char siu (plus 100 yen) and rice (100 yen), and it came out within a few minutes of ordering. As per the previous information, the thick char siu is 2 bowls of noodles, so if you add rice, it's quite filling. For 900 yen, I am very satisfied! I added the char siu to the rice and ate it in a mini char siu bowl (^-^) The soup had a nostalgic taste and was the perfect authentic Chinese noodles. It's only open for lunch, but it's highly recommended for those who like chashu! P.S. When I visited in October 2023, the price of Chinese noodles had increased by 100 yen (1 piece of pork siu: 700 yen, 2 pieces: 800 yen, 3 pieces 900 yen), probably due to the recent price increase. Considering the amount of chashu, I think it's still a good value.

The ramen is delicious as usual, but the chashu is amazing. delicious. You can get more for 100 yen, but it was so big and thick that I thought it was worth 100 yen.
