Konan, Aichi, Japan｜Ichifuji

I was nearby for work on a weekday, so I visited Ichifuji for lunch. Due to my work schedule, I looked online to see if there was a restaurant that was open for lunch around 2pm. This cafeteria is for city hall employees, located on the basement floor of Gangnam City Hall, but non-employees are welcome to eat here as well. Business hours are from 8:30 to 17:00, with lunch available until 2:00 p.m. So, I entered the store around 1:45 p.m. The inside of the store has the feel of a staff cafeteria, with lots of Showa-style tables and chairs. There are quite a few customers in the restaurant chatting after their meals. Due to the time and atmosphere (many of them were quite elderly), I thought they were local residents rather than employees, but they left the store at exactly 2:00 p.m. It might be an employee who took a late lunch break. As is often the case with restaurants of this type, you order at the cash register first, but the staff will do the serving and cleaning of your food for you, rather than by yourself. The menu is diverse, including set meals, rice bowls, curry, and noodles. Among them, I ordered a recommended miso cutlet set meal (850 yen) with a large serving of rice (100 yen). This miso cutlet is meaty and quite delicious! It's not cheap for a staff cafeteria, but it's worth it for the taste and volume! I understand that it is recommended. With long business hours and plenty of parking, we recommend it as a hidden gem!

I had a very delicious miso cutlet set meal. It is located on the first basement floor of Gangnam City Hall. Meals are served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It also serves as the city hall cafeteria, but anyone can eat here. I think it's good for people who like the atmosphere of an employee cafeteria. When you enter the store, you pay in advance at the cash register and exchange it for a returnable meal ticket, and after a while, the meal is served to your seat. Fried foods are freshly fried, and we start frying them after you place your order. If it's pork cutlet, you'll have to wait about 10 minutes. Recommended.

The cutlet has almost no fat and is thick and chewy. The cutlet really made me feel like I had eaten meat, and I was extremely satisfied! Isn't it a good value for 950 yen for a large serving of miso katsu set meal rice? All the staff members were bright and energetic, and I had a good impression of them. Entered the store around 11:15 on Thursday. It was very empty and I was able to eat in peace.
