At noon on a weekday, I came nearby for work, so I visited Chandani, an Indian restaurant in Moriyama Ward, for lunch. Since it is far from the station, transportation is by car or bus, but there is plenty of parking in front of the store. The inside of the store is a calm space where the old wooden pillars and beams are exposed. It was around 1:30 p.m., which was past the peak lunch hour, but there were 3-4 groups of customers, mostly men. The seats are spacious, so you can relax and enjoy your meal. I ordered the all-you-can-eat Indian curry! All-you-can-eat three kinds of curry, naan, rice, and salad for 1,089 yen! The curry is chicken, vegetables and chicken, and keema. The soup is mild and peppery. It's a taste not often found in Japan, but it's just the right amount to rest your chopsticks. The potato salad was also voluminous and delicious. Only the pickled radish is said to be “five times hotter than kimchi,” so it’s so spicy that it feels like the radish is sprinkled with chili peppers. In addition to the various sets on the menu (free refills of naan and rice), there is also a special lunch set for 500 yen every Monday and Tuesday. All the staff seem to be Indians, but there is no problem with Japanese, and they are polite to customers, such as caring about refills of naan. We are also conscious of measures against corona infection, and there are thermometers at the entrance and alcohol for disinfection everywhere, and disposable vinyl gloves are also available in the cooking corner. The fact that lunch is served until 15:00 is also a plus point, and the building is made of wood and has a nice atmosphere.

Chandani has always been on my mind every time I drive by. Of course the taste was delicious, but the staff's response was divine! The atmosphere of the shop is also warm and satisfying! The spiciness of the curry was 1 and it was about 'a little spicy'. It's about getting used to it while eating! There was free refill naan and I was full! !

If you can't eat one piece of naan but want more, you can order a half-size naan, which is great! ! The soup is also very rich, which I like! !
