Cheap but tasty

An old shop run by a husband and wife. Although it has a signboard, it is difficult to see from the street, so it is easy to pass by this store. The side dishes are displayed in glass cases, preserving the good old Showa atmosphere. Almost all menu items are prepared by hand. ●Visited on August 2, 2022 First visit in about 2 years. Order cutlet (curry sauce) and crab salad from the showcase, and order curry and red soup stock. The cutlet is made from loin meat that is carefully pounded with a knife to make it flat before being fried. The sauce on top was curry. After eating this (I was convinced), I ordered curry rice. Crab salad has a junk taste of crab sticks, cucumber, and mayonnaise (contains a little sugar) I think the roux for the curry rice is a store-bought roux from somewhere, but it has a lot of shredded pork in it! I'll put a little light on it. The red soup stock has a gentle taste and is made with soft tofu. It's a comforting taste. I arrived at 11:50, but the place was full by 12:05 (I also shared a seat), so I recommend arriving before 12:00. There is a parking lot for several cars 50 meters to the east. There's a signboard.

I used it for lunch. Red miso soup served with rice, 2 side dishes for 150 yen each, for a total of 530 yen. First of all, the rice was delicious. There is also a volume of side dishes, and 530 yen is enough to fill you up. From the outside, it may be difficult to enter at first, but it is recommended. I forgot the photo, but I would like to use it again.
