Great place! Enjoyed drinks and munchies as well. Very friendly owners, unique decorations and overall a sweet spot to chill with friends.

Ukine is a wine restaurant located on Shonai-dori in Nishi-ku. I used it for dinner with friends in September 2023. The restaurant's name, "Ukine," is said to have been a coined word, and I believe it was an acronym for "delicious, casual, and value-goro," and it was exactly that kind of restaurant. The meat-based dishes in particular were exquisite, and even if you ate and drank a lot, it only cost about 3,000 to 4,000 yen per person. The owner of the restaurant, who appears to be a married couple, are very nice and comfortable, and if it were in my neighborhood, I think I would go there once a week. This was by far the best among the stores I've been to recently. I would like to go again (^-^)

A wine restaurant on Shonai-dori. An area with Meisei Aeon and Inu Shrine nearby. Set meals are served for lunch. ⁡ The lunch menu was abundant and I was worried for a few minutes I had a great value lunch. Daily lunch is hamburg steak + Sasami Butter Saute on this day. Hamburger is thicker than it looks Coarsely ground meat with a chewy texture The center had a slightly pinkish rare feeling. Assorted raw vegetables are served as a side dish If it is 800 yen, it is a good lunch for cost performance.
