Ichikawa, Chiba, Japan｜自然厨房 TAKENO

We were looking for a place to eat and found a restaurant that uses it's own vegetables to cook food. We went for lunch. From the outside it looks like a residential home but inside it's a warm, welcoming and quiet place. A small number of tables and a small counter greet you. We were really surprised, the food was really delicious. Starting with the gentle and subtly flavoured soup to the lovely main set meal of salad, quiche, fish and rice. We decided to have dessert because the main meal was so good. A fantastic warm homemade chocolate cake with ice cream and cranberry sauce. I wanted to eat another one but Noriko stopped me!

The restaurant has a very calm and peaceful atmosphere. It makes me feel comfortable. The menus have cute illustrations. The food is really good here, too. I had a set lunch with hamburger, and I was able to get another little hamburger to increase the size. They also gave me some unusual pickles. The iced coffee was in a nice tall glass. I had a great lunch!

Visited on a Sunday in early February. Probably because it was before 2pm, there were no other customers. Not only the appearance, but also the space inside when you open the door is wonderful. The lunch menu includes this much and costs about 1000 yen, which is amazing. Moreover, the quiche and fried bread crumbs are elaborate and very delicious. I also ordered a craft beer as a set. It's smaller than a mug, but it's a medium-sized glass. However, this is just right for lunch. The surrounding area is close to an upscale residential area, so there are not many restaurants. Among them, this is a valuable shop. This is a store I would like to visit again.
