I happened to be nearby, so my husband and I went in. We ordered one each of the seared horse mackerel tataki bowl set meal (1,300 yen including tax as of February 2024) and the horse mackerel tempura bowl set meal (1,350 yen including tax as of February 2024), and shared half of each. was delicious~! ︎ Full of volume! Both have plenty of horse mackerel on top. The amount of white rice is a little large (*personal feeling), but it's not so big that you'll have to leave it behind. The horse mackerel tempura is crispy, fluffy, and has no odor and is delicious with the sweet sauce! The tempura had 5 pieces of horse mackerel and 1 green pepper. I’m glad I didn’t make tempura bowl for both of them lol It's a huge portion that would give you heartburn if you ate that much by yourself. (The quality of the oil seemed to be good, but I'm at an age where my stomach feels heavy when I eat a lot of oily foods...) The seared horse mackerel rice bowl is also delicious on the iron plate! I was satisfied with the fresh horse mackerel. There are many set meal restaurants around the world that carry fried horse mackerel set meals, but there are very few stores that sell horse mackerel tempura, probably because fried horse mackerel is a frozen product that is easy to handle. Kirari must be cooking the fresh horse mackerel properly, it's very delicious. I didn't order it this time, but I think the fried horse mackerel is also homemade. Also, white rice is delicious! It's satisfying to be able to eat plenty of delicious, freshly cooked rice with firm grains. The miso soup was ``hmm...very average'', but the quality of the main bowl was very high. Even though it was a busy time, the service was good. Thank you for the delicious meal!
