Noda, Chiba, Japan｜不老庵

Very special wild boar shabu-shabu. Owner secret recipe makes the soup very good taste. A must try when you are in Chiba area.

What an incredible menu! I'd always wanted to try wild boar, so we ordered that as a nabe dish. We also tried cochin chicken, duck, and sparrow, which were nice (not everyone will enjoy eating a whole bird, even if it is tiny). The raw venison was the most surprising menu item, and it was quite good, better than horse in my opinion. Next time I want to try turtle and a few other items our stomachs were too small to hold this time.

I made a reservation at Hot Pepper and came here for the first time. I was happy that they were open for lunch even on Saturdays and Sundays! ︎It was a private room, so even if you had small children, you could eat with peace of mind. The food was also very delicious. Although you can't see it in the photo, I was surprised that the lunch menu included salad, drinks, and side dishes. The rice is also cooked very deliciously, and just plain white rice is so delicious that you can't get enough of it (^○^) When I went to the bathroom, the lights weren't on, right? Are you OK? I thought that the female staff member was very considerate and kind.
