Narashino, Chiba, Japan｜Akebono

One of the best neighbour hood family styled Omu rice I've ever tried. First time here at the restaurant. The eggs were prepared perfectly , Fluffy and moist. The beef was so soft and tender. The sauces were out of this world , it complements the food so well. A must try if you are nearby the area!

Akebono is a very popular restaurant located right next to Keisei Tsudanuma Station. I visited for lunch on a weekday. There was a short line, but I went there at 12:30 and was able to get in in less than 5 minutes. I chose omelet rice and crab cream croquette. The salad can be changed to coleslaw salad for an additional 100 yen, and comes with potage soup. The potage soup was very rich and delicious. I almost wanted a second helping. The omelet rice was also delicious with fluffy eggs and classic ketchup. Was it the demi-glace sauce and curry? Three systems to choose from. I had a hard time choosing the fried shrimp, but since I don't often make crab cream croquettes at home, I chose this. I was happy that it came with tartar sauce, but I would have liked a little more. The accompanying pasta was made with ketchup and basil, which had a slightly strong basil flavor and was delicious and suitable for adults. The store was bustling with customers all the time. Is there a counter in front of you? If the place where the soup was kept was a little more organized, the atmosphere would be 5 stars. I was a little concerned about that, but the taste was perfect. I will go again.

Kikuta Shrine is nearby, so I went there for lunch after walking around the shrine. This is a Western restaurant that has been around for a long time, but it was the first time I went to eat at the new restaurant. Omelet rice, roll type, ketchup and salad were replaced with coleslaw for an additional charge. The eggs in the omelet rice are soft and easy to eat.
