I recently dined at the "Rasoi" Indian restaurant, conveniently located just a 10-15 minute walk from my home. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the warm and friendly demeanor of the staff, who made us feel truly welcome. For our first meal, we ordered the delectable combination of cheese naan and butter chicken, along with a refreshing salad. The cheese naan was a delightful twist on the classic, with a generous amount of cheese perfectly melted into the soft bread. The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor, complemented wonderfully by the fresh and crisp salad. Our second meal consisted of plain naan and palong ponir chicken, accompanied by another serving of salad and a traditional Lassi. The plain naan was soft and fluffy, serving as the perfect accompaniment to the flavorful palong ponir chicken. The dish was a delightful fusion of Indian flavors, with tender chunks of paneer cooked in a creamy spinach sauce that was simply divine. The salad added a refreshing touch to the meal, balancing the richness of the curry. And let's not forget the Lassi! It was a refreshing and creamy beverage that provided a delightful contrast to the spicy notes of the dishes. What truly sets "Rasoi" apart is the immersive cultural experience it offers. The ambiance, the friendly staff, and the authentic flavors all combine to transport diners to the heart of India. It's not just a meal; it's a journey into Indian culture. In summary, my dining experience at "Rasoi" was exceptional. The welcoming staff, delicious food, and the opportunity to savor Indian culture made it a memorable evening. Before I moved, I used to go to the store quite often, basically once every two months, and there was a time when I went twice a month. It was my favorite Indian curry restaurant. Favorites are chickpea curry, lamb curry, spinach sagwala, and Indian rum old monk rum What is good about this shop is that the cost performance is the best compared to other Indian curry shops, and lunch is 780 yen with free refills of two kinds of curry and oversized naan or turmeric rice. This price would be impossible at other Indian curry shops. Then there is the atmosphere of the staff. In other word of mouth, I see a lot of comments that the staff is unfriendly, but while eating, they ask me things like "Is it delicious?" Or surprisingly friendly. I moved far away on March 2021, and on November 26, 2022, when I went nearby for another business, I visited for the first time in 1 year and 8 months, but it was still delicious. I'm still looking for an Indian curry restaurant where I moved, but I still can't find a restaurant that I'm comfortable with... That's how good this shop was.
