Chiba, Japan｜和フレンチ＆カフェ そられ NANADAIME KOUJIYA

We stopped on the way back to Tokyo from a weekend in Chiba. Only course menu for lunch with like 3 different choice for mains (fish, hamburger, stake) and it's not really a place for infants (sorry staff for my hyperactive kid). The food was great - 5 courses including salad and dessert for a reasonable price. Can be a great experience on the way to/from Chiba.

The store is located just off the main street. There is a slope, so people in wheelchairs can enter without any inconvenience. It has a stylish interior that was renovated from an old private house. Today I ate on the second floor. Take off your shoes before going up to the second floor. First, we had a mixed drink with lots of fruits such as peaches and bananas, and then we had appetizers. I like that you can eat small portions of various dishes as appetizers. The vegetables are made without using pesticides as much as possible, so they are sweet and make your body happy. Next to the appetizer today was radish soup. Soup is followed by salad and then the main dish. For the main dish, I ordered fish and shared the beef fillet, wagyu beef hamburger steak, and ginger braised pork with everyone around me. They are all delicious. And finally, dessert. Desserts come in multi-layered boxes, and just like the plates for the course meals, each dish is also made with great care, making it a feast for the eyes. Desserts were cassis sorbet, cheesecake, and bavarois. We also have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, so you can enjoy them while drinking. We recommend that you make a reservation before going.

I used it for dinner! ︎ 5000 yen is enough for two drinks and the course price, which is a really good deal! ︎ As soon as you enter, you can smell the wood, the beams on the ceiling are made of solid logs, and the window bars and shelves have a quaint feel, creating a nostalgic and relaxing space. The meals are elaborate and delicious that I couldn't even think of on my own, but they're also very healthy and I don't feel guilty even if I eat a lot of them. I don't want to tell anyone, but I want to tell everyone that it's good! ︎
