Chiba, Japan｜Hanaya Yohei

My friends suggested this restaurant since they have 3 kids. I would describe it as a family restaurant, but Japanese style (it seems the term "Family restaurant" in Japan typically refers to American style like Denny's, CoCo's, Jonathan's, etc.). They have a broad variety of Japanese foods, drinks, and desserts. I had the Unamaboshi, a type of Unagi donburri where the eel is cubed and roasted and served over rice and you can eat it the ways: plain, with zuke (pickles), or with a rich dashi. Of course you can try all three which I did and it was delicious. They also had a special kids menu which includes a toy.

Good food! Highly recommended!
