Narita, Chiba, Japan｜小鎮的洋食屋 rapporti

We were staying at the AIC Narita Airport hotel and saw this restaurant pretty close by. It's pretty small - with 4 tables and a capacity of maybe 16-18 people (at most) and were lucky to grab the last open table. We immediately noticed how there were only two people working in the restaurant - not so uncommon in restaurants as small as this one. We ordered the "ham and avocado toast" (生ハムとアボカド) which comes with four (4) pieces, the camembert cheese fries (カメンベールチーズフライ) which came with six (6) pieces, and for our entrees we ordered the penne arrabiata (ペンネアラビアータ）and the mozzarella cheese and tomato spaghetti (モッツアレラチーズとトマトのスパゲッティ). The food took quite a while to get here (about an hour before our entrees arrived) but everything was well-worth the wait. The camembert cheese fries came out hot and were perfectly cooked with a crunchy exterior and a hot, melty, cheesy interior. The avocado toast had a wonderful depth of flavpror - with the ham, tomato, olive oil, bread, and pepper all blending together very well. We would have liked the bread toasted but that was a minor complaint. The pasta was cooked excellently, with a nice firmness to the penne that was a nice change of pace from many of the other Italian restaurants I have eaten at in Japan. The sauces were light and not as spicy as ones I have eaten abroad but everything was quite palatable. For the price, location, and the sheer work-ethic of the two people working here (seriously, props to them), I can't imagine much better Italian fare in this part of Narita. If you're in the area and don't mind a cozy, slow-paced dining experience, definitely check Rapporti out!

I would like to visit you at a road bike riding event. We made a reservation the day before and went with 10 people. You can also park your road bike on the premises. They kindly responded. At dinner time, I stopped by Rapporti's with some good friends (2 girls). The atmosphere of the shop was very nice and relaxing, so I spent a relaxing three hours there. I looked at the menu book and everything looked delicious, but I chose the dinner course. Although the course menu was inexpensive, all the dishes were very delicious, and I was impressed with the exquisite balance of flavors of the pasta, which you could choose from among 6 types. Above all, the grilled chicken is the most delicious and is a dish that I would recommend to many people. Next time I will stop by for lunch! It was a feast.
