More Comments at Google MapWhile driving to Choshi we came across this restaurant. It was 2pm and a little quiet but the staff were welcoming and friendly. We decided to order cold soba because we didn't want to eat anything heavy. The staff told us we have to wait 20 minutes as they have to actually make the soba for us! Decided to wait because it's not every day you get to eat freshly made soba. I have to tell you it was worth waiting for. It was delicious! We decided to come again to eat their unagi. People have said it's delicious and I can believe it if the soba is anything to go by.
It was introduced on TV and I came nearby so I stopped by. I entered the store just in time for noon on a Sunday, and at first there weren't many customers, but more and more people came and the seats started to fill up. I was shown to a table, ordered a katsudon set for lunch, and was able to eat it after waiting for about 10 minutes. Although the taste was a little bland, the cutlet was fried crispy and delicious, and the portion was just right enough to finish the meal. It was a feast. The store is located along National Route 126 and is easy to find.When I sat down to the table, it felt a little dark inside, but this is because you can see directly from Route 126 when you open the shoji screen, and once you get used to it, it's nothing. The parking lot is at the back of the store.
