A sardine restaurant in Kujukuri. Opens at 11:00. It is open three days a week from Friday to Sunday. So it's amazing to be able to set up this big store. I visited on Friday, but there were many groups lined up before the store opened. I ordered the recommended "Iwashi set 1980 yen". There are plenty of sashimi, tempura (fried), tsumire soup, and marinade. Both taste and volume are satisfying.

Your image of the cheap fish ``sardines'' will change to ``how delicious!'' It has no odor at all, is fatty and has a deep flavor. It also has a nice atmosphere where you can feel free to consult with the hostess and decide on your order. It's close to the Katakai fishing port, and the restaurant must have a good eye for sardines with many years of experience. It may be that the sardines are properly prepared while they are really fresh. I would say it has the taste of a long-established store. The sashimi and pickled sardines (not on the menu, but will be served upon request) allow you to fully enjoy the deliciousness of the sardines. If you want more volume, tempura or fries are also good (sets of sashimi and tempura or fries are also available). The set meal comes with a sardine dish and fishball soup, and the rice is also delicious, so if you want ``a delicious fish dish with rice'', you should go there at least once. Although it is in an inconvenient location on the opposite side of the ocean from the main street, it is a recommended restaurant along with the popular Kujukuri Soko in Kujukurihama.
