Visited in May 2023. I ordered the large rice set meal (¥900) and fried loin cheese sandwich set meal (¥900). I've been here a few times, and as other reviews have said, the Nakaochi set meal is affordable and delicious, so I highly recommend it! Although the price has gone up a little (around 50 yen), there is nothing to say about this price in this day and age. If you eat normally, you won't have enough rice, so I recommend a large serving of rice. Looking at other reviews, it is written that the delivery time is slow, but it is certainly not fast, but considering that the wife is making it alone, I think it is a reasonable time. It feels like about 15 minutes. For an additional 100 yen, you can get either medium-fatty or half-and-half bonito sashimi for the medium-sized set meal. To put it simply, the deep-fried loin cheese sandwich set meal might be easier to understand as cheese in tonkatsu. I took a bite, and it was a delicious and voluminous dish. The drink served was barley tea instead of water, and I noticed the container was empty so I was given a refill. I don't know now, but before the coronavirus, the store was open from 5 a.m. for market employees, so it might be open much earlier. Perhaps related to that, ham and egg or bacon and egg set meals were also on the menu. This is a recommended restaurant for those who are visiting Kashiwa Market for the first time and want to eat sashimi at a reasonable price. The name Meshiya is straightforward, right?

It's delicious and cheap, I think they could raise the price a little more. There are no places where you can get a set meal for 800 yen these days.
