Exquisite fine dining enshrined by Japanese tradition & atmosphere. An excellent place for private or business gathering. A minor notice: Only traditional squatting cistern available in the male toilet.

I received the lunch course [grilled fish] for 2,200 yen. Everything from the appetizers was delicate and reasonably priced. My wife had the [boiled fish] 3,200 yen, and the boiled golden sea bream looked delicious.

I've passed by the store several times. However, since the name of the restaurant is ``Sazae,'' I thought it was a restaurant specializing in turban shell dishes. Also, at first glance from the outside, I couldn't tell if the restaurant was open or not, so when I opened the door and called out to them, Mr. Nakai was kind enough to let me in. The landlady was also very nice. Lunch is 3000 yen and 2000 yen omakase course, salted fish, zenzai, etc. Each dish served was handmade and delicious. Among them, chawanmushi! This was my first time eating it with wasabi, and I enjoyed the texture of the lily root. I regret not taking pictures, but I will upload some of them.
