Itako, Ibaraki, Japan｜Hashiya

I stopped by on Sunday, June 4th, on my way to Itako Iris Garden. The parking lot was empty probably because it was after 1pm. What should I eat? I went on a long trip with a friend. Although I was the driver, I had a kind friend who paid for the gas, juice and meals along the way, and I ordered a special sashimi set meal, a miso-stewed beef tendon set meal, and a Japanese-style tofu and crab salad. The pickles and nuta appetizers are delicious, the beef tendon stew with miso is melty, the sashimi is fatty and outstanding, and the salad is packed with the umami of crab. It's an extremely good store. The master was also pleasant and it was a wonderful lunch. I promised Master that I would visit again. 6/25 As promised, I visited from afar. What was different from last time was the Menuke Saikyozuke and sirloin steak, but they were delicious with great seasoning and grilling. It was the best lunch.

I never thought there was such a delicious restaurant in such a place!? Hashiya-san from Itako City. Izakaya? Apparently, it's open for lunch. There is a parking lot in front of the store, but you can't park that much, so depending on the timing you may not be able to get in. I visited after the lunchtime peak, and there were quite a few customers. The inside of the store is quite spacious with a counter, tables, and a tatami room. The menu is so rich that it's hard to know what to order 💦 This time I ordered chicken steak! One large piece of breast meat is filling. The surface is crispy and the meat is soft and juicy! I'm sure it's delicious. It also comes with a small bowl and coffee, so you'll be full. I was able to talk to the owner a bit since I was sitting at the counter, and he was very personable and I had a good time. I'm thinking of going back to work in Itako City to eat here again.

On our way to Kashima Shrine, when we arrived around 12:00, it seemed like everyone was using only one car, so there was no parking available, but we were able to get in fairly quickly. There were 30 seats inside, and there were some empty tables. There were various menu items, but I chose the sashimi set meal (1,100 yen), which included oshinko, miso soup with lots of toppings, rice, and coffee. It was fatty and very delicious. My family doesn't eat it unless it contains honey, so I didn't buy it, but the umeboshi (250 yen) sold next to the cash register was fluffy and shiny and looked very delicious.
