Matsusaka, Mie, Japan｜Yomogian

This Japanese restaurant is located high above the ruins of the Tsurume Ferry on the Kushida River, and you can see the beautiful river flowing from inside the restaurant, and the view is part of the meal. It's crowded on Saturdays and Sundays, so it takes a while to prepare the food, but it's worth the wait as the food is warm and delicious.

We had a meal in a calm atmosphere surrounded by nature. I can't believe I can eat fried oysters at this time of year (^^). The miso soup with seaweed was also delicious.

The location is exceptional. Facing the clear Kushida River, it is the remains of a ferry on the old Wakayama Highway. We use good ingredients, the food is carefully prepared, and we don't make anything in advance. Everything is freshly made.
