great soba dishes! lovely… traditional postal town house from the Edo period

Traditonal restaurant with traditional architecture from the old days....lunch is excellent in a summer day.

This restaurant has soba and udon sets as well as coffee and sweets This is my favorite place to eat Japanese food. If you're walking around Seki, definitely stop here to eat, the woman who makes the food is very friendly. One time I went there and she was out of the ingredients to make one of the dishes in the meal set, she let us know and asked us if rolled sushi would be ok instead. We said of course and what she made was so good!
