Matsusaka, Mie, Japan｜Mamunowa

I found this restaurant because I wanted to have a relaxing lunch in an old folk house. After reading the reviews that said it would be best to make a reservation since the menu is limited in quantity, I made a reservation for the fried shrimp set meal and the fried chicken set meal one hour before the reservation. It seems OK to just reserve a seat. It's hard to find the entrance when you use the navigation system, but you'll be across the road from GEO. The shop has the warm feeling of visiting your grandmother's house in the countryside! The fried shrimp in the fried shrimp set meal is an open type, but it's thick and crispy⤴️I'm very satisfied with the 3 pieces💕 The fried chicken set meal is sprinkled with sesame seeds and seasoned, and each piece of fried chicken is huge! Even my son, who was a big eater, was satisfied with the amount. You can choose from three types of rice: wild vegetable rice, sekihan, and white rice.☺️A variety of healthy side dishes made with seasonal vegetables. The chawanmushi was also delicious. The tea is served in a large teapot, so you can enjoy plenty of it. We were seated at a table right after entering, but you can relax at the wooden table. If you go inside, there are counter seats facing the garden, so it seems like you can enjoy it even if you are alone. Just as I imagined, we had a wonderful and relaxing time. I would definitely like to visit again.

3rd visit. I often come here for lunch when I come to Matsusaka. I made a reservation at 11:30, but it is still a popular store. It was already crowded with many people. There are tatami mats and tables, so you can come with small children without worry. We had Mamunowa lunch and fried chicken lunch. (The picture is fried chicken lunch) Mamunowa lunch is mainly tempura, and comes with a lot of side dishes. All the dishes are really delicious and satisfying! Will definitely repeat again. The meals are always delicious, down to the small side dishes, and the portions are full.
