This is a restaurant with a good taste, located along the old Ise Kaido road. A restaurant specializing in eel at reasonable prices, where you can enjoy extra-thick, locally-grilled eel. ▪️Cooking/Taste I received the ultimate eel jug (one or more) for 3,960 yen including tax. After a little over 10 minutes, I was served. Many authentic eel restaurants in the Kanto region that use both steaming and grilling take about 30 minutes, but the good thing about locally grilled eel is that it only takes about 10 minutes, probably because there is no steaming process. yeah. However, in the Kanto region, one eel costs approximately 3,500 to 4,500 yen, but the same 1 eel costs 3,960 yen, which is the most expensive eel here. Its size is unusual. It's about the size of a jubako. The flavor is reminiscent of locally grilled meat, the skin is thick and chewy, and the meat itself has a rough texture. The sauce had a characteristic sweetness, and I was sure it would be delicious when grilled with it, and it was quite the sauce to my liking. ▪️Service/Atmosphere There are some tables where you can sit with your shoes on, but it was basically a tatami-style restaurant where you took off your shoes. There are two types of tatami rooms: one where you sit on the floorboards, and the other with a table shaped like a horigotatsu. Even though the customer service was at the last minute for the last order, they were very accommodating and I was able to enjoy the delicious food with peace of mind. As mentioned above, I am envious of the many delicious eel restaurants in Mie Prefecture.
