This is my favorite store. You can eat seasonal vegetables and locally produced foods, and it's quiet and relaxing.

It's no exaggeration to say that it's number 1 on my list of favorite shops! From the appearance of the restaurant to the quality and deliciousness of the food, the simple personality of the staff, and the reasonable prices, you'll want to come back again and again. The other day, I had the recommended clam shabu-shabu course. This is 4400 yen including tax. It would probably cost twice as much if you ate it at a famous restaurant in Kuwana City. Once the clams are finished, wild yam, seasonal dishes, and Kiso Mikawa eel are also exquisite. Carp can be eaten all year round. I have never experienced Botan Hotpot in winter, so I would like to try it this year. 2020.2.23 Visit I have visited you many times, but I received the gibier course that I had always wanted! Is this an appetizer?! The roasted venison is so hearty that you can enjoy the chewy texture of the venison, and the freshness of the local vegetables is delicious.The main dish, Botan nabe, is made with sweet red miso and has boar meat and plenty of vegetables. The mushrooms are stewed, and although it looks thick at first glance, it's delicious and you can eat it easily without feeling bitter! Udon is also perfect for the flavorful soup stock. Furthermore, I was very satisfied with the perfect taste of eel chazuke with ginger as a finishing touch. For dessert, I ordered the kabosu jelly parfait for an additional 330 yen, saying I was full (lol). I spoke to the proprietress and heard that it was featured in this year's Michelin Guide...! This dish can only be tasted here, so you'll want to come back again and again. Next time, I would like to come and try the spring yam. Thank you for the meal.

We had a seasonal wild vegetable dish in a spacious tatami room. I thought it would be lonely with only wild vegetables, but every dish was very delicious and I was very satisfied! The local sake (Takou) was also delicious! It was worth the long journey to visit.
