Their lunches are very filling and have a good amount of variety, rather than the typical main + rice + pickles + miso soup (though of course they do have that particular combination as well; they make up for it with a very sizeable main dish). You can even get perfectly good sashimi as part of a lunch set for 1000 yen! Service can be a bit slow during lunch hour.

I had a fried horse mackerel set meal. It comes with mustard, tartar sauce, and grated radish, so you can enjoy each flavor individually. It's a very satisfying set meal as it also comes with boiled offal, sashimi, and small side dishes. It was so delicious!

I went there just before the store opened on my way home from a meeting nearby, and it was a popular store with a few customers waiting for it to open. I ordered the Marutoshi set meal, and it was very delicious with so many dishes on it, including sashimi with sharp edges, a really delicious Shimotsuma Kinton pork cutlet, and motsuni. Within 30 minutes of opening, the restaurant was full and the cars were full, but the food was so delicious that it was no wonder it was so popular. Since it was a nice lunch on a weekday, there were many women who came in groups. The seafood and grilled fish all look delicious and I want to go again.
