A small traditional Japanese restaurant, with many options for teishoku. Portions are generous and with various side dishes. Cheap and delicious. I highly recommend this hidden gem in Tsukuba.

Off the beaten track, never too crowded, with very friendly owners, and really delicious food, no matter what you order. Their fish is particularly good. And also their miso soup! You really remember what miso soup is supposed to taste like when you have it here. It all comes down to good ingredients.

I didn't know about the restaurant as it was a road I don't usually take, but I was drawn in by the word of the delicious set meal and went in. There are set menus, single items, and regular set meals, and this time I ordered a set of fried chicken and ramen. It's a result. Since it opened early, there was little waiting time and the food was very satisfying. Although it was a small ramen, it was delicious with plenty of pork, menma, seaweed, and green onions. Deep-fried chicken is also seasoned with home-cooked flavors and is perfect as a side dish with rice. It came with cold tofu and pickled Chinese cabbage. Will definitely visit again. Next time I will have the fried shrimp set meal that other customers were eating. I decided to order it because it came with 5 large pieces of fried shrimp and looked delicious. I now have more fun coming to Tsukuba. thank you.
