I often go around Mt. Tsukuba, but I rarely pass by this area, so I discovered it on Google Maps and visited for the first time. The building is located in an excellent location with a clear view of Mt. Tsukuba, and the parking lot is easy to find, making it feel like a drive-in. When you step inside, you'll feel like you're in a cafe from the Showa era. You can also see Mt. Tsukuba. I ordered the pork ginger grilled set meal and asparagus salad. The ginger grilled meat has a strong seasoning and is delicious. And the dressing on the cabbage that comes with it is also very delicious. The asparagus salad is also delicious with fresh vegetables and white asparagus. Repeat is confirmed.

(2021.9.19) Repeat brunch on a Sunday when it feels a little like fall. Last time I had the cutlet curry, I wanted to try something different today, so I chose the fried horse mackerel set meal. The waiting time after ordering is about 20 minutes. Although the food wasn't served quickly, the wait wasn't too bad as I was able to look out the window and enjoy the atmosphere inside the restaurant. And then the fried horse mackerel came out. 4 thick, large, freshly fried slices. It was quite voluminous. Speaking of fried horse mackerel, there is plenty of classic tartar sauce. When I brought it to my mouth, the batter was crispy and the horse mackerel was plump. There were no small bones or a tail, so I bit into it with all my might. The seasoning is tartar sauce, soy sauce, and thick sauce, so you can eat it without getting bored. The side dishes and pickles are also good. It also comes with a large portion of salad, so it's well-balanced. Fried horse mackerel is one of my favorite foods, and I thought this item was one of the top three fried horse mackerel I've ever eaten. Unlike family restaurants on the street, there are fewer people and you can enjoy your meal slowly, so you can spend a luxurious time here. I'm thinking of bringing my parents over for dinner next time. (2021.8.22) A retro Showa restaurant located at the foot of Mt. Tsukuba that my wife previously discovered. I came here because I thought it had a nice atmosphere. They say it gets quite crowded at lunchtime on weekdays, so we arrived at 11:00 without breakfast. I see, the exterior of the building is quite dated...it feels like a restaurant that has been around since the days when there were no family restaurants. When you enter, it feels quite spacious with a cafe area on the left, a tatami room area at the back of the front, and a table seating area on the right. My wife and I decided to eat in the cafe area. Everything from the interior to the chairs and tables is retro. It was probably prosperous when more tourists started visiting Mt. Tsukuba than now. The deep chairs and the slightly low and unbalanced height tables enhanced the atmosphere of a good old coffee shop. The serving lady was very polite and friendly, and I was also very polite. After looking at the extensive menu, I ordered a cutlet curry (¥1500) and my wife ordered a hamburger set meal (¥1100). It took about 15 minutes for the meal to be served. When the tray for two people was placed on the small and narrow table, there was almost no free space. Katsu curry is a black curry that tastes like it has been slowly simmered. Lots of onions. It has a slightly sweet and deep flavor. A little after I started eating it, I felt like the spiciness was rising. The cutlet on top of the curry was also fairly thick and crispy. There were 6 or 7 slices, and the volume was perfect. It also comes with a salad. It takes a lot of determination to finish the meal. But it was delicious. Two bites of my wife's hamburger. It has a strong meaty feel and is also a nostalgic taste. It was so delicious that I thought I would try the hamburger steak the next time I came. Although it was a bit of a long trip, I was able to have a good brunch and was very satisfied. I definitely want to come again, so I gave it 5 stars.

Even though the food came out quickly, the taste of miso soup and small bowls made the best use of the ingredients. In addition, the fried oysters are crispy and the tartar sauce is good. From the scenery, I could see Mt. Tsukuba, which I climbed, and the autumn leaves 🍁 were beautiful 🎵
