This is a soba restaurant that my wife and I regularly visit when we want to eat tempura. It is located a little bit up Mt. Tsukuba. There is a parking lot in front of the store and in the back of the store. The store is set in an old private house, and the atmosphere and furnishings of the house are interesting. The most important dish is vegetable tempura when you come here. You can enjoy large pieces of seasonal vegetable tempura. In addition, Japanese yam dishes such as yam tofu as well as yam tororo are characteristic. Not to mention the stickiness of the yam tofu, the taste of the Japanese yam tofu is the best. The difference from before is that the hearth and dirt floor on the right as you enter the entrance are no longer in use, the parking lot has been expanded to the back, and a banquet hall has been built. This is a shop you should definitely stop by when you come to Mt. Tsukuba.
