Great “hamburg”s and risotto croquettes! It’s amazing that the chef does all of this on his own (or so we heard). Small restaurant, but more seats than I imagined. The tiramisu was very tasty as well.

This is a small place that serves amazing hamburg steaks! The meat was so juicy, and the sauces complimented it so well. Today, I had French and Dutch types of sauce — both were great! The French one was like a demi-glace type. And the Dutch one was a creamy cheese type. There are 4 more sauces to choose from: Italian, Russian, Mexican, and Japanese. If you happen to be nearby, definitely try this place! You’ll go home with a happy tummy! P.S. Please be patient during peak hours. The owner does all the work — taking the orders, cooking, cashier, and cleaning. But the food would be worth the wait!

This is a long-established restaurant in Tsukuba where you can easily enjoy delicious Hitachi beef hamburgers. Hamburger lunch comes with salad and potage for 1,595 yen (tax included: price for August 2022) Large servings of rice are free. I'm also happy to be able to choose from 6 different sauces. (You can also choose between a slightly sweet demi-glace sauce and an authentic demi-flavored red wine sauce.) The inside of the restaurant is not that big, so on weekend lunches it gets full and you may not be able to get in. The potage in the set has an indescribably elegant taste and is also very delicious.
