We had to wait for about 30 minutes because there was a big waiting list and had to wait for more than 30 minutes or so for our dishes to come, but it was worth it because the food was delicious. The わかめ揚げ (fried seaweed) and the たこ唐揚げ (fried octopus) were super crispy and tasty 😋

It's different from Nagoya's miso stew udon, but it's delicious. There's no chicken I was surprised to find pumpkin, lotus root, Chinese cabbage, burdock, and a little bit of green onion. The noodles are not hard and have a smooth texture. The noodles are long so it's difficult to take them out. I was surprised that it wasn't a clay pot and the lid was gone. The portion is quite large, so if you eat it with rice, it will be crunchy. I wonder if it's only in Nagoya that people eat miso stewed udon as a side dish.
