Ishioka, Ibaraki, Japan｜Soba Sho Sankyo

Stopped here for lunch while driving in the mountains. The waitress Asami was great even with limited English! The whole restaurant was very welcoming to my brother and I even though we could not read the menu. Lunch was amazing with great soba and tempura veggies. Would love to be able to contact Asami and say thank you again. She took photos of us in the parking lot with our cars and really made a great memory for us.

Visited from Canada while driving Mt. Tsukuba. Although they don't speak much English, they were very eager to help and serve us! The food was great and atmosphere was awesome. Definitely a hidden gem!

A soba restaurant open only on weekdays. Visited around 11:10. I was able to enter the store immediately, but it was full around 11:30. I like juwari soba and crispy tempura. The view from the window is nice even in the rain. The parking lot was in front of the store and across the road.
