Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan｜せきれい茶屋

Very tasty udon rich in flavours and at a reasonable price. It’s good to stop off here for a quick rest and some nice food on your way back to the cable car.

I ate a very tasteful dish of hot udon. They serve also soba and ramen. It's also possible to buy souvenirs of the Mt. Tsukuba.

A teahouse a little away from the observatory area. There is an anchor on the side here, and it seems that old ships used Mt. Tsukuba as a landmark. I always eat here, but since I was full before climbing, I only bought a sports drink. The landlady's smile is nicer than other stores and she behaves like our home. It's the most relaxing teahouse for me.
