This is a shop specializing in sheep meat! Service and atmosphere are secondary! The owner is elderly, so it will be closed in a few months. This is! ? Mutton! ? Is that so! ? That's the level. . I'm so sad that I can't eat this anymore. . . If I think about it positively, I'm grateful that I met you before it closed.

I came to ``Hitsuji no Sato'' with my family of four, including my wife and two sons, after watching a video posted on You Tube by Shimodate star Shozo. Following Mr. Shozo's advice, I called in advance to make a reservation. The menu I ordered was 150g of grilled sheep as a set meal for 4 people for an additional 500 yen, and 150g of diced steak and 1 serving each of curry rice. It's run by an elderly couple, so it may not be very fast, but that's why the customer service is courteous. First, borscht, rice, and vegetables come out. After a while, the mutton comes out. The meat looks fresh. At first, the master will be on the side and teach you how to bake. The grilled meat (medium-rare) had no distinct sheep odor at all, and I thought it was more delicious than any other Genghis Khan dishes I've ever eaten. Because the lamb meat is tender, it is grilled in a special iron pot that is different from the pots used in regular Genghis Khan restaurants, and the meat is sliced with the same trowel used for okonomiyaki and eaten with the sauce. I see, I think I can understand that it is called "Hitsuji-yaki" rather than Genghis Khan, which is eaten by grilling vegetables and putting mutton on top and steaming it. The ceiling is high, so the smell of smoke didn't stick to my clothes, but if that bothers you, there are terrace seats, so you can eat and drink while looking out at the view outside. Next time I would like to try ``Hanikami Nabe'' as well. Also, apparently they don't serve piroshki anymore.

A tasteful shop with a nice log house building and a kind owner♪ Not only the lamb, but also the curry and borscht that have been stewed for three days are exquisite! This time I ordered diced steak and grilled lamb, but I forgot to take a photo... Hitsujiyaki is thinly sliced, and diced steak is said to be twice as hot as Hitsujiyaki! I think everyone's tastes are different, but all of the lambs have no smell or smell and are very delicious, and I love the diced steak grilled rare with salt and pepper! If you're in the area, why not stop by instead of passing by? The owner says he might close the shop in a few years, so hurry up! ! Order menu (2 people) Dice steak 100g ¥1,500 Grilled sheep 100g ¥1,500 + Borscht set meal ¥500 Curry stewed for three days ¥900
