Shimotsuma, Ibaraki, Japan｜お食事処 しもん亭（道の駅 しもつま）

2023/05/28 The roadside station Joso was crowded, so we changed our lunch location to the roadside station Shimotsuma. I had the Shimotsuma-don and my mother had the hiyashi chuka. My mother really liked the hiyashi Chinese sauce and char siu and is eager to eat it again, so we will be coming back soon.

I visited this restaurant with a friend on September 11, 2020, and I was worried about the menu. 017 Founding Festival Special Lunch Selection 1100 yen Meat, sashimi, 3 other side dishes, and pork soup was delicious~

I ate shimotsuma-don at Shimon-tei in Shimotsuma Roadside Station♪ Soft herb pork from Ibaraki prefecture, burdock root, carrot, onion, green onion and black pepper create a harmony of spiciness♡ Fairly good I did (^ ^)v I'm also curious about other items! It looks like we'll be able to meet again in the fall, so please look forward to it!
