Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan｜Izumino Sato (Drive-in Shin-chan)

Nice soba restaurant. We sat on the floor at a traditional Japanese table, but regular tables were also available. I ordered a simple zaru udon which had a flavorful and pleasant dipping sauce.

It does not change with time. It is like i was there 20 years ago. For me food was good, but i can not distinguish fine shades. What is more important is atmosphere. Google translator may be helpful. Menu is in Japanese including prices. This seem to be the place of locals.

Very nice and friendly staff, beautiful decor, great location and views and good food. A bit pricey, but if you can swallow that (excuse the pun) then the place is very enjoyable.
