There are only two types on the menu: kamaage udon and zaru udon. Water and tea are self-service. All-you-can-eat bonito tsukudani and kelp tsukudani. I grated the ginger myself, and other condiments included green onion, tenkasu, sesame seeds, and sudachi. The soup stock is prepared in large sake bottles and is always piping hot. The shop closes at 2pm, but there's a chance they'll run out of noodles. When I went there, the noren was closed at 1:30. Payment cannot be made using electronic money, only cash. I will go again.

I stopped by on my way back from Mt. Tsukuba, and I was so impressed by how delicious it was. This is a store you should definitely stop by when you go to Tsukuba. Tabletop ginger that you rub yourself, soup stock in a piping hot bottle, and Tsurushiko udon. It was the best!

I visited around 12:45. There were 3 groups waiting, but we were seated within 10 minutes. They took our order while we were in line, so it was served quickly from the time we were seated. I ordered extra large kamaage udon (thick). The udon noodles were firm and delicious. It has quite a salty taste, so the ginger condiment went well with it. There are quite a lot of extra-large pieces, so I feel like the larger one is basically better. By the way, this is something I would write in a food review, but the restrooms were very clean and nice. There is no parking lot nearby, so please be careful if you go by car.
