I visited around 12:30 noon on a weekday. The inside of the restaurant had the feel of a good old set meal restaurant, with 3 seats at the counter, 2 seats at a table, several seats in the tatami room, and a fourth group of customers. I ordered today's daily set meal, which is rumored to be a good deal, for 900 yen. The main course consisted of 5 pieces of fried chicken, 2 pieces of fried squid, half a boiled egg and potato salad, sashimi of sea bream, yellowtail, and green onion, simmered dishes, hiyayakko (deep-fried tofu), tsukemono, rice, and miso soup. The amount is sufficient unless you are a high school student or university student in an athletic club, and middle-aged men will appreciate the large number of items, which makes them feel like they are likely to increase their intake. The fried chicken has a crunchy coating and the meat is a little firm, so it feels like fried chicken with a side dish of rice. The fried foods are delicious. The sashimi on the outside menu was sea bream and yellowtail, but perhaps because there was only a piece of yellowtail, it came with green onion. This sashimi is also delicious without any smell or dryness. The chilled tofu is made with cotton noodles, and the simmered dishes are fried tofu, shiitake mushrooms, and konnyaku, making for a well-balanced set meal that goes well with the restaurant's atmosphere. I would like to try other menu items, and the husband and wife (?) were also nice and I had a good meal, so I hope this restaurant continues to operate!
