Every time I visit Hitachikuni Izumo Taisha Shrine, I'm curious about it, and this time I was able to pass by just when it opened, so I decided to change my train schedule and stop by for lunch a little earlier. As I waited and watched the grandmothers making it, a hearty bowl of shrimp tempura soba was brought to me. I ordered shrimp tempura soba, but the vegetable tempura was also delicious! The chopped rakkyo on the chilled tomatoes was very delicious, and the pickles were also delicious! I would like to stop by again on my way home from worship.

The summer-only Hiiragi soba was delicious. The barley tea was delicious, and I was happy with the watermelon service. Also, the beer glasses were cold, and the green beans with miso were great!

It is located in front of Fukuhara Station on the Mito Line, which was the planned terminus of the Kabasan Railway, and is located along the National Route 50 Old Road (Yuki Kaido), making it a must-see place for fans of the abandoned railway, the Unfinished Line. Both the soba and tempura were delicious, but the maitake mushroom tempura was especially delicious.
