Ishioka, Ibaraki, Japan｜蕎麦蔵めぐみ

Three of us visited the shop on Friday, September 16. We arrived there around 12:30 pm, and there was no one (we were lucky!) As we ordered three “mori soba,” more clients came and the place was full. It’s a small place (two tables - four seats each, and large common table which seats up to six). Our order was served right away, and soba noodle was flavorful! We also ordered flavored rice (burdock and chicken), which was perfect for salty soba broth. I would recommend this soba noodle shop if you are in the area.

It was a hot day, so I had a cold soba. Hitachiaki soba can be eaten here and there around here, but this is 100% soba and it was very delicious. You can get a large serving for an additional 300 yen, but it would have been nice to have a large serving.Comes with soba-yu, dessert, and a piece of buckwheat.

I stopped by because I saw it on Google search and it was a great decision. The Juwari Soba had a good flavor and was very delicious, and both the host and the staff were very nice. It was my first time to eat soba seasoned with only scraps of salt, and it was so delicious that I got addicted to it. I would definitely like to stop by again when I have something to do nearby.
