This is a truly homely izakaya with roots in the area, run by a married couple who are serious, cheerful, and warm-hearted. I'm an old customer who's been going to the store since it was still in Tsuchiura (it moved from Tsuchiura to Tsukuba), and I always have fun every time I visit. My personal recommendation is definitely the grilled squid. Squid eaten with a little bit of fragrant boiled squid gut is extremely delicious! ! ! Perhaps due to the influence of the owner who loves music, live band performances are held in the store on a regular basis. If you are looking for an izakaya in Tsukuba, this is a really recommended restaurant.

Delicious and voluminous food served by a friendly host, all at a reasonable price. The inside is spacious and relaxing.
