Mito, Ibaraki, Japan｜Kashiwa-no-ki

I made a reservation from Instagram* Although I did not specifically reserve a private room, I was given a private room and was able to enjoy a relaxing meal. The restaurant is very busy and reservations are essential. I couldn't take pictures inside the store because it was a private room, but it was very beautiful! The restrooms were shared by both men and women, but they were very clean. What I ordered today was the Kashiwanoki set. I had a course of authentic Chinese food ☆ The appetizer, soup, and main course were all very delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed them♪ The drink that came with the set was Tohoku Bijin Tea (hot), which suppresses fat absorption and is anti-aging! The pot is always on the fire, so it doesn't get cold, and you can add hot water, so you can drink endlessly. The staff were cute and the customer service was polite, so I definitely want to go there again!

This Chinese restaurant is located on the outskirts of Mito. I didn't know the entrance at first, so I wandered around the store, but it was just closed before it opened. The detached building is cute, with high ceilings and exposed wooden beams. It is an impression that it is cleaned here and there. Both I and my companion chose the B course, and the main dish was egg shrimp chili sauce and tantan noodles. Both were elegantly spicy and delicious, and the almond jelly dessert was also very delicious. There are many kinds of Chinese tea, and hot water can be replaced. It was a wonderful place as expected, so I will use it again for girls' associations.

In this day and age, I can understand why prices are going up...but the dessert was also cut out from the dim sum set (ノД`)... The Kashiwanoki set includes assorted desserts (2 items) → dessert (1 item). There are fewer Chinese varieties to choose from, and the jasmine tea I used to order every time is gone (lol) The price hike is unavoidable. The prices of many things are going up. However, the price increase + dessert cut made me sad. I wrote about the negative aspects here, but the food is still delicious and the customer service is friendly! I'm very satisfied with the food! When I went there in the fall of my third year (one month ago), they had oysters every day, and they were really delicious. I really wanted to try it again, so I went the next week, but the menu had changed. . When I go with friends, I pay about 1,500 yen for lunch, and when I go with my husband, I pay 2,000 yen for lunch using my husband's pocket money (lol).The 2,000 yen appetizers are all delicious! All of the staff are also classy and nice. Always smiling and polite. We definitely recommend hot tea, not iced! The tea leaves come in a pot, and it smells really nice, and you get refills of hot water. Definitely recommended for Mito Chinese food! The main dish was the daily fish (sawara, I think?) with sweet and sour sauce. The 2,000 yen price comes with medicinal soup, but the 1,500 yen price comes with a daily soup.
