Near the Aoyagi fruit and vegetable market in Mito. This is the store next to Liquor Ishikawa. I've been going here since I was in my 20s. How many decades have passed since then? I think the reason why it hasn't moved and still has many fans after so many years is because the food here is delicious. Excuse me, but I know of more elegant teppanyaki and yakiniku restaurants, but this is the most delicious and relaxing place. I think the prices are also cheaper than other stores. They say they serve Kuroge Wagyu beef from Kagoshima, but I've also heard that they also serve Hitachi beef. Since it is an old-fashioned restaurant, there is a small raised seating area and a large tatami room in the back where you can have a banquet. I heard from someone that they also provide buses for parties. Hey! Oh I see! Where there is Mr. Wang's signature, it feels like the Showa era. But it's good. Yes, that's also good. We also serve lunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Open only in the evening on weekdays. However, it is not only crowded at lunch time, but also at night. The parking lot is divided into the front and back of the store, and the front parking lot is bright, but The parking lot in the back is dark at night. Not only the meat, but also the bowls and rice are delicious. What kind of rice are you using here? Once I visited, This is rice that can be harvested from the rice field behind the rice. That being said, Ibaraki rice can be so delicious depending on how you cook it. . I was once impressed. Card payment is OK. It usually costs around 7,000 yen for two people, but it's plenty filling. This is a restaurant where families can feel at ease. I hope you continue to do your best with this style. It is recommended to eat good meat with garlic sauce.
Furin, located in Hitachinaka City, is just a short walk from Mito Station. I've been to many Yakiniku restaurants all over the country, but it's very difficult to find a family-style Yakiniku restaurant like this, and it's very hit or miss, but Furin is hit or miss. It was a restaurant where you could eat very delicious Yakiniku. They seem to be particular about their brand of beef, and the special loin and short ribs I ate that day were Hitachi beef and Kagoshima black beef, respectively. In particular, Furin is the only restaurant in Ibaraki prefecture that has been officially approved to sell Kagoshima black beef (Furin claims), and this is promoted when explaining the menu. Personally, I don't really care about the place of production, but today's Hitachi beef loin was delicious. Another unique feature that you won't find at other restaurants is that if you order ``special'' meat, they will provide you with a special dipping sauce. This had a stronger garlic flavor than regular sauce, but it gave me a somewhat different impression. The regular sauce has a junky seasoning with strong garlic, and I thought the special sauce would be a little subdued to enjoy the fat, but it was the complete opposite. When I tried it, I felt that the stronger garlic sauce would be more delicious at first bite, but the sauce was a little boring, so I continued eating with the regular sauce from then on. It was a fun yakiniku restaurant with bamboo growing inside and a historic exterior, but I was very satisfied with the food. I am creating a blog called ``Yakiniku Encyclopedia'' where I record my visits to yakiniku restaurants all over Japan. We also publish information on other yakiniku restaurants and the actual score of Furin on our blog, so if you are interested, please take a look. You can find it by searching for yakiniku encyclopedia.
