I stopped by on a very cold day and was very impressed. Miso is delicious - it's a shame that it's only available in the Kanto region, but I'd really like you to come to the Kansai region as well. It warmed my body and soul. Thank you! ️

This is the Tokai branch of Bando Taro, a leading local family restaurant in Ibaraki. Miso stewed udon is a specialty, and there are many flavor variations, so you'll be spoiled for choice. Also, the price is cheap! On this day, I had a hearty set of matsutake mushroom and salmon kamameshi and cold udon noodles, and I think it cost less than 1,500 yen. Best cost performance. The Tokai branch has a large seating area and several tatami mat seats, so it's not always crowded, and the staff are efficient, so you can enjoy your meal in a very comfortable manner. Depending on the store, Bando Taro may be crowded, but this store is highly recommended as you can walk in right away and have a relaxing meal.

It's one of my favorite places to eat slowly. I love simmered udon, and there are plenty of seasonal menus.
